AIRE Tributary 12.0 SF Standard Floor Raft

You get an additional UPS/gear credit. AIRE Tributary 12.0 SF Standard Floor Raft is a model that few if any dealers stock. We used to before 2009, but the popularity on this model seems to have declined the last several years. In any case, do NOT proceed to the shopping cart on this one until you have phoned us at 925-820-BOAT so we can check AIRE’s stock. You can also email us. As of this update we do have a non-bailing 13′ RMR brand raft in stock that may fit the bill. If we still have it when you’re reading this, it will be listed in this same section with the other four non-bailing rafts.

Details – AIRE Tributary 12.0 SF Standard Floor Raft

This raft comes equipped with three removable thwarts, and has ten D-rings, four lift handles (not shown), three main air chambers, and weighs 87 pounds. The color is a lighter blue than shown – we need to update our picture. At 12’3″ by six feet wide, the T-12 is ideal for four to six paddlers, though it would certainly not be ideal for six people that average 200 pounds apiece. Keep the payload to under 1000 pounds, preferably 950, and you’ll be fine. It will make a sweet li’l oar boat too, and gives fly fishermen who don’t really need the self bailing feature of the AIRE Puma and AIRE Super Puma a less expensive alternative. We say this because very few anglers fish on rivers harder than class II or low-flow class III, which this boat can easily handle. Few boats of this length (except the NRS Livery’s) roll up as small as the AIRE Tributary 12.0 SF Standard Floor Raft does, and that is an important detail if you need to take your raft on a float plane. This model can be used on more difficult pool & drop runs if you don’t mind bailing the water out.

AIRE Tributary 12.0 SF Standard Floor Raft Leafield Valves

The AIRE Tributary 12.0 SF Standard Floor Raft has urethane bladders and Leafield valves just like the American-made AIRE rafts, and has all welded seams. The already reasonable 87 pound weight will drop to a scant 75 lbs if you remove the thwarts. Most people don’t need the rear ones if they are using a frame, and often the front one is replaced by a skidguard seating area, or the padded top of a drybox.
